Online course „Smartphone video production"
Small group (4-12 participants) - language of instruction: English
Using smartphones to make professional-looking videos is no longer difficult. With a few clicks you can create stunning video content for your audience.
In this introductory online course you will learn about:
- Resolution & aspect ratios for social media videos
- Smartphone video equipment (tripod, gimbal, microphone und light)
- Introduction to the camera app „FiLMiC Pro“ (focus, exposure and white balance)
- Introduction to the mobile video editing app „KineMaster"
Requirements:
- current iOS- or Android-smartphone
- current Firefox- or Google-Chrome-browser
- App „FiLMiC Pro“
- App „KineMaster“
- registration in the vhs.cloud

The presenter will also answer questions up to a week after the webinar in the VHS Cloud.

Jens Jacob (Master of Arts "Literature and Media Practice") has been producing short films, commercials and documentaries since 2006. In 2011 his work was awarded 1st place in the citizens' media award by the state institute for media NRW. He has worked for various clients in the field of culture, business and advertising. Jens Jacob has the adult education qualification (EPQ) of the State Association of Adult Education Centers in NRW since 2019.
