The world language is English!
Change, challenge, disruption and confusion all over the face of the earth. It’s breath-taking, but at least one thing is stable: English is, and for the foreseeable future will remain, the world language. It fascinates with its own regional and social variations, it even helps other languages to survive. And, it is anything but a museum piece, and everybody needs personal skills in English: the more, the better. In this course, we want to experience and work with the global language as it is used in Great Britain, in the United States, Canada, India, Australia, Germany, Tristan da Cunya and other places and thereby enrich our own listening, speaking and writing abilities.
